How to join

Client pack 5.2.17 · live server v5.2.17 · Minecraft 1.21.1 · NeoForge 21.1.235 · PARTIAL

1. Get the client pack

  1. Install Java 21 and the Modrinth App or Prism Launcher.
  2. Download Siegmann OneBlock Adventure 5.2.17 (.mrpack).
  3. Import the mrpack — allocate at least 6 GB RAM for the client.
  4. Keep the Siegmann resource pack enabled (Geckolib models live there).
  5. Minimap: Xaero's Minimap is included — HUD map top-left, press Y for settings (pairs with Open Parties and Claims).
  6. DELETE any old profile before 5.2.17 and import 5.2.17 as a new profile. Reusing 5.2.7–5.2.16 can disconnect with registry mismatch (unknown keys: siegmann_crownforged:admin_gilded_command).
  7. Do not add LuckPerms (or Tebex) to the client mods folder. LuckPerms is server-only — adding it breaks joins (Invalid player data).

Use the official Complete Edition only (v5.2.17+). Never layer jars onto an old 5.2.7 profile.

2. Connect

Multiplayer → Direct Connection (or Add Server) using the Modrinth Hosting address (DNS SRV → port 22546 — do not use a raw IP or :25565):

playsoa.modrinth.gg

If your launcher ignores SRV, use playsoa.modrinth.gg:22546.

First hour checklist

  • Break the OneBlock and progress phases
  • Claim land with Open Parties & Claims
  • Craft a Locksmith key to secure chests & doors
  • Essentials: /sethome, /spawn, /tpa
  • Premium menu → Collections, Bosses, Travel

Client crash? Create Deco

If the client dies during launch with ConcurrentModificationException in Create Deco (parallel mod construct), the server is still fine to join — this is a client-only race.

  1. Fully quit the launcher and relaunch the profile (often enough).
  2. Client v5.2.17+ ships config/fml.toml with maxThreads = 1 (NeoForge-native fix). Confirm that file exists under the instance .minecraft/config/.
  3. Optional fallback: profile → Java / JVM arguments → add -Dfml.maxThreads=1, then launch again.

Modrinth .mrpack cannot ship launcher JVM args — the pack uses fml.toml instead.
